since I’ve graduated high school I’ve stayed in touch with my physics teacher and I adore him- sweetest guy, reminiscent of Alton brown (whose babies I’d have in hopes that they’re half as amazing as he is) and he does a fundraiser every year for the care center, a Christian alternative to planned parenthood. totally gung ho about it and bam! now I’m religionless and I felt weird about donating to a place that upholds beliefs I can’t agree with anymore, especially in relation to sex, ESPECIALLY since I have so much shame associated with sex because of ideals that Christianity holds. I got my tax return today and made the donation and felt so much better. I don’t have to exclude myself from entering the Christian block even though I have a lot of resentment associated with it. so yeah, today wasn’t all bad
